Metchosin Farmers' Market
A country market on the Metchosin Municipal Grounds, Sunday late mornings through to the last Sunday in October. Farm produce, plants, crafts, and food from the rural edge of the West Shore.
Sundays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Metchosin Municipal Grounds, where everything is homemade, handmade, or homegrown. Produce, meat, baking, preserves, plants, and crafts from the rural edge of the West Shore. October 11 is the Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend, and the season runs through to the last Sunday in October, which this year is the 25th. The Pioneer Museum and the Old Barn Bookstore are right there, so it is worth the drive out Happy Valley Road for the morning.
The market also puts on a Christmas market on the first Sunday in December, which is the one to keep in mind once the regular season closes.
